What does that mean?
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
It's the picture that shows behind your profile picture when someone clicks on your profile. I'd tell you to click on my profile to see one, but I haven't loaded a profile banner yet. What does that mean?
Yes, thank you both! I have wondered about this also. Thanks, Teresa and PloverWing!
Nice! I lived in suburban D. C. area for approx. 20 years. I was born in the midwest and I'm here for good. I guess I'd post a cornfield if I could or a pic of a Bible. My banner is one of my own photographs, as is my profile picture. Both are pictures of an area of Virginia Beach that's at the south end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. This beach is a couple of miles from the house where I grew up, and it has a lot of sentimental value for me.

So, to add a profile banner ... do we just upload a photo (image) on our computer to this website?
Assuming your user interface is something like mine: Go to your profile, and look for a button that says "More options". If you click it, you get a drop-down menu, and one of the menu entries is "Edit profile banner". That takes you to a page where you can upload a picture.
