Is there a way to set our default font color to black instead of gray?
It looks as though the default font color has been changed from the low-contrast gray to an easily read black already.This is being looked into as we speak. I would guess that the color schemes that you currently see, including fonts, are still under revision. (many folks have mentioned the gray font as unreadable)
Also, there will be a way to set you're own personal font settings in a week or two, if I understand the upgrade properly.

I think it's an improvement. Overall, I think the new style looks cleaner. I kind of like it now that I'm getting used to it.

That's really odd, especially if you're using the native 1280x1024 resolution (assuming it is a LCD). Last night I worked the site with no difficulty on a 15" LCD running 1024x768 resolution.I like the new set-up except that that it is longer than my screen and I am constantly having to move my bar back and forth to read every thing. Was this done for wide screen monitors? Is there a way I can resolve this problem as I have a 19in. non-wide screen monitor?
