After all the years that have passed, all the changes people have made as far as technological growth, the morals still stand...but wouldn't it be feasible to have some prophets now to write some added chapters to the bible covering today's problems? I was telling my husband the other day...we would be fools to think that after all the growth we have had on the physical plane, that there was no growth on the spiritual plane as well......

In Revelations it states not to add on to the bible. We'll just have to wait for Jesus to come.


I suggest writing down your blessings and experiences in a journal. It will be a pleasant read, I'm sure

Man thinks he has new problems, so that he won't need God or the Bible.

1. It's a single Revelation.
2. The passage in question does not mean "don't add to the Bible." It means don't add to John's revelation.

Very good idea. Also you could look into some of the devotional Bibles that are out now. Or a devotional book like My Utmost for His Highest. It was recently updated.
