  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello everybody,

I wanted to give a little update about how things are going in my life. Despite being saddened by the news of Michelina, things are otherwise going very well for me. I think I was on here very briefly last September in which I gave an update that baby #2 was on the way.

I am happy to announce that Ignatius Stephen Murphy was born on March 17 going at a speed of about 60 mph as I was trying to feverishly exit the freeway (didn't make it to the hospital in time). And that Ignatius and my wife are doing very well. My oldest son (Cyprian Patrick born March 2, 2009) is a fantastic and very protective older brother. I can't wait to see how these two develop over time. Anyways, other than that life is good.

I've attached a picture of my family from Ignatius baptism from back in April and another picture of the two boys close up.

God Bless everybody.

Awwww how sweet.

I added you to FB.

Warning: i have a very hard time remembering real names on FB to character names in CF. So if in 6 mos i ask who you are - [which i dont usually] - its because i forgot who is who.

I do know tho who are friends from CF, just forget the CF names time to time.

Nice to see you again.

Great hearing from you! I'm so glad you posted on here today. I was reading through old posts and came by one of yours and starting looking for you on Facebook so we could catch up. Then I noticed you lived in Mesa and put two and two together and we go to the same parish! My wife knows yours through the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. :) Small world, and small graces. :)

Seriously? Wow, we met once (I think after Christmas Day Mass) and who would have thought I was talking to isshinwhat?!!! Lol, wow small world! Yeah we haven't been going to Mass there much recently, as my 2 year old does much better at the Byzantine Catholic parish (which is just 5 minutes away from our home instead of 40).

God Bless! (Friend request accepted).
