  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks so much for prayers. It looks like a miracle is happening. I went for an ultrasound a few days ago and my sac may have resealed. My amniotic fluid level is normal and the baby is doing well. It is just so strange because my water did break. The chance of resealing that quickly is really rare. Most women leak of quite sometime. I am still on bed rest and have an appt with specialist tomorrow to find out more information. I am prepared for many weeks laying in bed. It is hard to sit even.

Everyday is a blessing from God! Please keep praying for this baby. Pray that I don't get an infection either which is not good for the baby or for me. A miracle is so far happening and I pray that it continues to happen. Isn't every baby a miracle from God?? As I think about it my healthy boy who is now three is a miracle, too.

I will be 15 weeks tomorrow, which isn't that far along to be put on bed est. Since I was changed to "modified bed rest" I went to the park today and sat while my child and husband ran around for about 1 1/2 hours. It felt good to actually get out. My belly is continuing to get bigger, which is reassuring.

I went to a specialist and she thought the same thing I did, I passed a twin. She said that it was highly unlikely that my water broke and I had an ultrasound and still had close to normal if not normal amniotic fluid levels. The only logical option would be a twin. It did seem like a twin. When we looked at pictures, a portion of the membrane was split and there was definitely something there which most likely was a twin. Since I didn't keep the miscarriage, we will never really know for sure. If it wasn't a twin, then after this experience God put his hand on the baby and sac and filled it up. I believe in miracles and whatever actually happened, it was a miracle.

I'm so thankful things are looking good for this little baby. Rest up and take it easy. I'm sure you'll value your trips to the park so much more now. :)
