I have windows xp and everytime the windows update comes up it is always the same update yet i have installed it at least 50 times(no joke)
its always the same one, same description, same number how do i stop it from getting this same update?

You probably have a corrupt registry entry. Most likely, all you can do is reinstall. How cool is that?

Ugg! That kind of thing is sooooo annoying!

Can you uninstall the update using the add/remove function? Also, you might try one of the registry cleaners off www.download.com and see if it picks up anything.
