Update on Yovel - Prayers Needed!

Thank You all for your prayers. It is good to be back home and no headache. I will be seeing a quite few doctors in the next couple weeks.

The Dr. that allowed me to go to Integris hospital in OKC says I have Gilbert's syndrome.

Definition: Gilbert's syndrome is a multifactorial inherited disorder that affects the way bilirubin is processed by the liver and causes jaundice.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors: Gilbert's disease is common, affecting up to 10% of some Caucasian populations. The most significant symptom of this condition is jaundice. Affected in ordinarily have no jaundice. However, jaundice appears under conditions of exertion, stress, fasting, and infections. The condition is usually benign.

So that is what I have and it is not serious. They are sure that I had some type of meningitis that is viral and will go away on its own. Praise Adonai.

I am still pretty whacked out from the strong pain meds that I was getting in the hospital and from the stuff I have to take for awhile to make sure the head aches don't come back.
