  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've had the Astra Zeneca jab. I had a headache for a while and not a lot of energy. I was able to go for a walk, my arm feels like it's bruised and I've slept a lot. Apart from that I'm fine. Much ado about NOTHING.

I had a mild headache the morning after the first Astra Zeneca.

I had no reaction to the second shot.

Although these are new vaccines, the underlying technology was initially developed many years ago and improved incrementally over time. As a result, the vaccines have been well tested for safety. The success of these mRNA vaccines against COVID-19, in terms of safety and efficacy, predicts a bright future for new vaccine therapies that can be quickly tailored to new, emerging threats. Early-stage clinical trials using mRNA vaccines have already been conducted for influenza, Zika, rabies, and cytomegalovirus. Certainly, creative scientists are already considering and developing therapies for other diseases or disorders that might benefit from an approach similar to that used for the vaccines against COVID-19.

Wonderful! Now you're all prepped for the next designer modification.

Actually I was pretty disappointed. After all the stuff I've read here, I expected to get a chip out of the vaccination or, at the very least, The Mark of The Beast.

Nothing.

Who do I complain to?

You don't have a sensation due to those nano drones traveling through your arteries? (Strange)

Edit: This is a poor attempt at a joke. (I do not believe in drones coursing through the body).

Those are pretty much expected of vaccines that I like and trust.
They are not the issues at hand (for me & mine).

Good luck.

About 8 hours after mine I felt like I had been hit by a truck and took the next day off work.

Good luck.

About 8 hours after mine I felt like I had been hit by a truck and took the next day off work.

First dose had me off for two days with flu-like symptoms, second dose did the same for one day (much to my irritation). By all accounts I had the worst reaction of anyone I work with.

I hope that's the last one since I only have one arm left. The other fell off after getting poked.

Seriously with the two Pfizer shots I got, I only had some soreness in my shoulder. Like after a tetanus shot.

My first shot I felt nothing but a sore arm for a few days. The second one made me very tired and sleepy for about 24 hours. The next morning I woke up with very blurry vision in my right eye that disappeared within 20 minutes of waking up. I have been suffering through brain fog ever since getting the last shot, but this isn't totally abnormal for me. Probably due to severe depression and anxiety I've suffered bouts of brain fog that can last for a few months and then a clarity of mind returns only to fall back into another spell. Although I will say this brain fog seems to be pretty bad.. but again.. I think depression is slowly eroding my mind.. so it's hard to say whether or not it's complications of the shot or at the very least compounding them.

I am pro-vaccination and I do not hope my words discourage anyone. Everyone else I personally no hasn't suffered from any blurry vison or brain fog.

Affects people differently. I made sure that I prayed first! I'm 70, I don't know if that is a help or a hindrance.

A local man I know has had a similar problem. His vision problems go back to the time of the vaccination, according to him.

The vision problems never went away? A month later my right eye did become blurry again but this time it was less severe and went away after about 5 minutes.

Was weird though.. even though it was one eye my other eye couldn't adjust so my whole field of vison was blurry unless I covered my right eye.

Got my second dose of moderna today, six hours ago. Not feeling anything so far.

Guess I'll see how much I suffer tomorrow morning. If I can't make it here, would someone step in for me and click the funny emoji under every tragedy please?

Have seen the people with difficulty breathing in hospitals talking they wished to have gotten the vaccines? ugh... sad.
And they say the vast majority of people who gets hospitalized are non vaccinated ones.

Either this is true, or everyone is lying, like a flat earth thing...

For me this is almost like wearing a seatbelt or going to the doctor when you feel bad.
There is a small percentage of probability i am wrong... but i am not a conspiracy nut so.

My wife and I both felt a bit run-down after the first AstraZeneca shot. The doctor who set it up said we might get "mild flu like symptoms".

Nothing after the second shot for both of us, apart from a sore arm for a couple of days.

I'm not impressed by the anti-vaccine argument. I don't see any alternative for society to approach herd immunity, unless we're going to allow open slather with the associated high death toll and stressed health workers.

Statistics are easy to distort to fit an argument. One is that more vaccinated people are catching COVID than non-vaccinated. In some cases, this is correct, but the question is why? If 100% of people are vaccinated and one person catches COVID, then it can be said that 100% of COVID victims were vaccinated. No one claims that 100% immunity is possible. Some do catch the illness after being vaccinated. The severity of the symptoms is greatly reduced and hospitalisation rarely required. I've had my first shot. I'll be glad when I have the second.
