  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Update:

Today was my son's first day at Catholic Primary School:clap: . The whole day was a nerve wracking experience for us both...but i am so pleased to tell you that Joseph had a great 1st day. He said that they said a lot of prayers ( this must just happen in primary Catholic Education because my daughter is at Catholic High School and they only have a prayer time once a week) and that he got a sticker for regaling his extensive knowledge of the Egyptians (one of his fave subjects)...i hope his class don't think he's a little swot because unless he has a particular interest in something, it is very difficult to maintain his attention!:)

The only draw back so far is that at his new school they only allow milk to be drunk at break time :)sick: )and he could eat a variety of tooth rotting substances at the other school :yum: . Anyway, he seems to have made a friend and he played football at break, he didn't get beaten up or bullied and oh boy, did he look handsome in his new uniform...i defy any man to charm me the way my son can !:D

Here's a pic of Joseph that i took this morning before he went to school...and thank you so much for all your prayer's, we are enormously greatful to you all for your many wonderful prayer's.

Hey, good for Joseph even if I can't see him! I just love uniforms. I think they look great on little boys and big ones, too! Nothing like a muscular military man in dress blues to get this heart-a-thumpin'.

Anyway, I'm so happy that things are working out well for your son. Just getting rid of the stress of a bully will help him fell better about school and learning. Glad he gets to pray too!
