  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

He's out of surgery, and the doctor said he did fine and he's stable. She said that although most splenic tumors are cancerous, a small percentage aren't and this one didn't look like cancer. It was smooth and soft and focused, and there was no sign of spreading and no other organs or tissues were involved. She's sending it out to pathology, though, so we'll hear for sure next week.

I went to the vet to be with him while he woke up, and when I left, he was trying to stand up, but he's on a mild morphine drip, so he can't focus well enough to stand. He can probably come home on Thursday.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! Keep praying for an easy recovery.

I saw him this morning and he was up and wagging! He was very ready to come home. His incisionis long, but not that icky-looking, and he doesn't need a bandage anymore. They told me he is hungry, too, which is a very good sign. He can't eat yet today, though, because they don't want his stomach puting stress on his internal stitches too soon, but he might get to eat something light this evening.

They might let him come home tonight!! My house seemed incredibly empty without him last night. But I want him to stay in the hospital as long as he needs to.

Thanks again for your prayers. :)
