For those that didn't see the Prayer Wall post, Heather was thrown from her horse and suffered a severe back injury and was first diagnosed with an L2 spinal injury that could leave her paralyzed. She is married with grown children and grandchildren and has many animals in her care, so this would have been truly devastating on the family.
After learning of the accident yesterday afternoon, all we knew was that she had a severe back injury and was unable to move her feet or toes. They knew that she had bone fragments near her spinal cord from the L2 and were unsure if the cord was damaged. She had been transported down to Duluth for surgery and would take approximately 3 hours. During this time I posted a prayer request and many of our wonderful brothers and sisters here prayed and posted.
This morning we learned that the surgery went as well as it could possibly have gone. All of the bone fragments were removed and her spinal cord was swollen, but not damaged. She will make a full recovery and be released in a couple of days!!!!
I truly believe in the power of prayer, so thanks to all the prayer warriors, and All Glory to our Father in Heaven, all praise to Him!!!
