Locked in a tower
Locked in chains
Lost all power
Lost it to my Pain
Wont someone save me?
Get me out of here.
Scars on my heart so deep
my death grows near
blood stains on the floor
My ripped and ragged dress
blood drips more and more
I feel less and less.
I think about the things
You said to me before
All the pain it brings
I'm not a 'good for nothing wh0re'
I hurt myself on the outside
inflict pain on myself
to KILL that thing on the inside
I'm a prisoner to myself.

Honest, unblunt opinions would be appreciated. If you have an idea for a title let me know. I thought about "Prisoner to Myself" But i dont like it too much. So let me know.

Great poem Jo! Jesus loves you and continue to trust in him. I know it is hard to let go of the hurts that are laid upon your heart. There is hope and Jesus is your caretaker. He has our lives planned out. He is always near to those who call him. Don't worry hun, Jesus loves you and he sees your deepest hurts. He wants to set you free and heal your heart. Have faith and when in fear or doubt remember that the Lord is always near. Call out to him when you feel alone, scared, or even worthless. I love you and you will be in my prayers.

Lol, this is cool... Well, actually, the writing is interesting, the content is not so disturbing to me, but the fact that you write this type of poetry is cool to me. I also write things like this, but only when I'm desperately depressed; it's probably the same for you too, huh. But really, good poem.
