Time smoothly passes, slowly slicing my soul,
Slipping through my fingers, sneaking in the cold.
Silence slithers in, faintly floating by,
Flying over my heart, fluttering above my eyes.
Far in the distance, I hear a hellish howl,
High under the moon, hinting a hungry growl
Hiding in the dark, the whispers tickle trees,
Tingling with terror, I do not dare to leave.
Twirling around my head, messing with my mind,
Messages mumble about, mingling from behind
Moments dimly linger, shadows loiter through,
Lonely are my hours, a relentless longing for you
Loving the wild monster, weeping for your strife,
Waiting for your word, wanting to be your life
Why must you run, run far away from me?
Reeking ravenous havoc, reining all I could be ?
Raindrops are falling, dripping desperate beads
Here I am frantic! Dying to fulfill your needs!
How can you do this ? Take my soul away...?
Tears trickle down, my heart tears from dismay

*This may not be much of a poem, but I would like to know if anyone could help me think of a title... I am very terrible at titles... and also, do you think that maybe I cut the poem too short? Or is it a bit too long? Or do you think that maybe I should redo the entire thing? I'm just looking for a few suggestions or comments... I just finished writing this poem a couple of minutes ago... well, thanks for reading anyway.
