Unsure About Feeding

Hi ya'll!
I created a pet just a little bit ago and I am not sure how this works. I know it said my pets hunger was -10?
So how often do you feed your pet? Do I just go once a day and buy dog food to feed it or do I just check in a few times a day?

What is considered -10 for hunger?
I know I sound crazy.. Sorry, just don't want my pet to die!lol

The pet will get hungry at a rate of about 1% per hour, so in 24 hours it will be approx. 24% hungry. You can feed it once a day and it will be just fine, but if you want to feed it more often, it's up to you.
