I didn't see a thread for unsigned or local bands and thought I'd start one. This is kind of to help promote and show some love to those unsigned bands we want to get signed, become rich and famous and maybe mention our names on the grammy's when they win, lol.
Anyway, they are not local TO ME but they are unsigned and I just love these guys. They are called "The Damn Hands" and you can listen to some of their music at www.myspace.com/thedamnhands and also at www.bandspace.com/thedamnhands and at www.purevolume.com/thedamnhands
The way I found these guys is kinda weird. I heard a song that was labeled "Creed- Untitled" and I knew even though the singer sounded alot like Scott Stapp that it wasn't him and so I researched and found the band was really Level With The Ground and the song was called "Go Home". And then by the time I found out that info LWTG had became Seven Left and had a new singer which I thought was better than the other singer, Seven Left was AWESOME but they disbanded and the lead singer became the drummer for The Damn Hands. And that is how I come across these guys.
