  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Today, I mailed a Bible to my friend Blake in MI who is not a Christian. God is working on his heart, and I know God wants him in His kingdom. I just pray that Blake will read the Bible and God's Word will speak to him!

I also pray for my other friend, Bryan, who is not a Christian and in a lot of pain right now over soemthing. I just pray that God fill that Christ-shaped void in his life and show him His love.

In Jesus' name!!

Please pray for my two lost friends. God has really put both of them on my heart tonight.

Heavenly Father, i pray for Blake and Byran. Lord allow for Blake to read his Bible that Melissa has given him. Father, please touch his heart, make him want to know you more, and please help him to have a personal relationship with you and accept you as his own personal saviour. Lord, I also pray for Byran, that you would help him through the pain that he is going through. That he would discover your love that is able to fill the void in his life. In Jesus' name, Amen
