I was looking for a Forum on Universal Reconciliation (not Unitarians). I found a Forum suggestion that is closed. Why? and Why is there no Forum for Universal Reconciliation? There was a lot of support FOR THE FORUM ON UNIVERSAL RECONCILIATION. I enjoy the fellowship with like minded believers and do not enjoy the debates with the calvin and arminium(sp?) believers. We each have our strengths in scriptures and UR's also have stregnth in sharing historical documentation of translations language and historical origin of hell. We need and we want a place we can continue to support and encourage each other in this truly good news message to the world that we joyfully share how Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father.

Universal Reconciliation is often misunderstood and accused as being a free ticket to eternal life without repentance or acceptance of Christ and if those who make such an accusation truly understood the scriptures they too would follow the True Message of Salvation to All of Mankind and that Christ truly is the Saviour of All the World.

Well

I knew this name looked familiar, this is surely a small world. I get "Google Alerts" for Universal Salvation and I just happen to see this pop up a few minutes ago.

Are you the same luvs_luv from Theology Online Forums?

BTW, We can discuss Universal Salvation in the General Theology forum, Ethics and Morality forum as well. There may be another one in that same area that I am not aware of, there is no specific forum for the subject on this site.

Of course I am same luvs_luv.

I look forward to discussing Universal Salvation in General Theology forum, Ethics and Morality forum. Can you send me a PM on how to set up a Goggle Alerts for Universal Salvation. I guess I am kind of low tech, but that is a feature I would like to have very much.

Brethren, I am a rock-solid, Bible-believing fundamentalist with no apologies to anybody, and I am surprised at how strong the case for universal salvation is.

The Bible clearly teaches that salvation is only through faith in Christ, without works, but there are passages that seem to teach that everyone in Hell will eventually turn to Christ.

:amen: It is always awesome to see the Holy Spirit at work in so many hearts these days concerning the truth of the true "Good News", it is truly finished.

I have asked this question on other forums: Where does the Bible say that you cannot be saved after you die? Book, chapter, and verse, please.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, BUT AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT." (Hebrews 9:27)

"The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy." (Psalm 145:20)

"He became the author of eternal salvation unto all the that obey Him." (Hebrews 5:9)

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in therat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:13-14)

These verses spring to mind immediately. The first suggests there is NO opportunity for salvation after the first death and the others help make clear that universal salvation cannot be true.

Here are the posting rules regarding universalism (includes universal reconciliation).

Discussions about Nicene and Trinitarian beliefs may take place in the Christian-Only forums, all discussions regarding non-Nicene and non-Trinitarian topics will take place in Unorthodox Theology. Those topics include (but are not limited to)
● Universalism
● Open Theism
● Full Preterism
● Trinitarianism
● Annihilationism
● Masonry
● discussions related to unorthodox Christian religions

The topic can only be discussed in the Unorthodox Theology Forum (link).

You have no concept of what JUDGMENT is--JUDGMENT does not mean eternal torment or THE END of anything.

There are plenty of verses that show Universal Salvation as well. Looks like we need the Holy Spirit to truly learn how to rightly divide what is LITERAL and what is not.

How would you know what concept I have about judgment? You don't know me, my Bible study habits, what resources I have (like Strong's Concordance) so why make such a statement?

Like this one? "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Errr, well maybe not.
