" UNITY IS STRENGTH"

" All the believers were one in heart and mind." [ Acts 4:32 ]
God's power is for all of God's people, not for just a few Christians who happen to be filled with the Spirit. One weakness in the church today is individualism. They say," I am led;" I will do my thing my own way." However, it is the quality, depth and unity of the Christian fellowship as a whole that is important.
" From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which each part does its share, causes growth for the body for the edifying of itself in love." [ Eph. 4:16 ]
God has promised his blessing whenever brothers dwell together in unity. [Psalm 133:1] Every Christian's life can be affected by the unity of fellowship. Here is one example: Prayer. Jesus promised his disciples that if two agree on earth about anything requested, it will be done for them by the Father.
[ Matt.18:19 ] In other words, it's not enough for two Christians to mentally assent to the same prayer. Their lives must be in harmony with each other. They must be in relationship of love and forgivness. It is only when fellowship is united and harmonious that we can expect any blessing at all.

Great!! the body of Christ needs to hear this message probably more than anything else at this time.I looked at your profile and see that you are an elder person (over 60) I highly respect you and see that you learned this from God not from man.We need this kind of encouragement(Godly wisdom)all of the time!
I remember a scripture that says to edify one another "daily", which I dont always do myself.But it is my desire to do it to please my God and Saviour
Jesus Christ.Maybe if we encouraged one another daily ,the quicker the Body of Christ would get in harmony.Hallelujah.........
