I want to ask about what this expression means. It is used by Francis Schaeffer and some other christian philosophers - such as James Sire.
I kind of understand what is meant by closed system, ie. naturalism, that nature is all there is. And "open system" meaning that natural isn't the whole show - that God or man can reorder it, ie we are not part of a machine, or not completely determined.
But the part I don't quite understand is "uniformity of natural causes" - and I was wondering if one should speak of that together with "open system".
