Please pray for me. I am struggling with a root of unforgiveness and bitterness that arises when I am angry. My words are cutting and unkind, then I feel sorry for what I said, or felt (if I did not say it). I am asking for the Lord to grant me mercy and true repentance. I am asking for the Lord to give me a peace about suspicions and to let the Lord handle the wrong done to me. I need peace. Please pray for the Lord to cleanse my husband and me, and heal all. Pray for the Holy Spirit to heal all of the broken places in my children also. I desire to be close to the Lord again.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

May the Lord give you peace, and protect and heal your children. May He grace you with His Spirit to guide your words with tenderness, and open your heart to forgiveness. May He reward your repentance with self forgiveness that you might be comforted and healed. May peace be restored. God bless
