Genesis Chapter One describes the "origin of creation." It does not tell us when God created the world, but that he did it over seven days. These seven days, as they are described in the Genesis Creation Story contain a description of the phyical biological world. This Genesis account also contains a corresponding structurwork of history from Adam until today. The Genesis Creation Stories 31 verses are in fact the Bible Code on which base the entire rest of the Holy Bible is structured.
