Understanding Revelation?

Can anyone share some info on understanding revelation, or point me to sites that break down each chapter. A muslim friend of mine wants to know what the christian signs of the end are and what will happen when we that time. I know the gist of what happens but not as in depth as id like.

I did a study through a book by Darrell Johnson called Discipleship on the Edge that studies Revelations (The link takes you to a further description of the book).

It is the one book in the Bible that is so confusing that it seems most of the scholars who have studied it disagree at various points. Have you thought about telling your friend to read it? Or maybe not to even worry about it? The end comes soon enough in one way or another.

I would share matthew 24 with Him..Jesus clearly says what the signs of endtime will be.. I would also share Daniel 12 in which Daniel says that knowledge and travel will increase.

Two books by Tim LaHaye are excellent. One is Revelation Unveiled, the other is a "study book" called Understanding Bible Prophecy for Yourself.

Both excellent books, easy to read, and make sense. LaHaye has spent more than 25 years studying prophecy and has a real handle on it. Further, his "Revelation Unveiled" comes complete with extensive footnotes and bibliography.

A correspondence course I am taking very often cites "reveling thru revelation" by J. Vernon McGee. (McGee went to be with his Lord some years ago.

All these books are older, but the McGee one is much older. You will probably find any, or all, of them in used book stores, or online sources.
