  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Not too familiar with them. Seen a video once or twice on JCTV, they seemed cool but they didn't strike me as a band that I had to have their music. I also think their newer stuff is better than their older stuff. Just my opinion.

First album was "act of depression", latest album was "lost in the sound of separation". I did have most of their "define the great line" album on WMP on my old computer. It had some cool tunes.

I would definitely check out "They're Only Chasing Safety" first. I would especially listen to "Some Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape". That song is unlike their entire album, but it carries so much passion and inspiration. That album is my favorite by far, and "Define The Great Line" is also a good album to try!

I will say that Underoath remains one of the few decent alt/screamo-ish sort of bands out there today.

In my "metal" phase, these guys were my favorite. I think that was every scene kid when They're Only chasing safety came out.

With that in mind, Underoath is one of the few bands I still listen to in this vein, and I think that is because they are more artistic in what they do. Sure they are load, sure they rock warped tour--but they try to push boundaries. And they;re lyrics top many bands with their dark, brooding, yet redemptive poetry.

to simpy answer that question--Define the Great Line is quite simply stated their best album. Their newest also comes close with a production ethic that sounds unlike others.

TOCS is emo pop with some screaming, good if thats what you want.

much peace
