@not under law
I suggest you reverse engineer your thinking.
Here is the starting point.

law = BAD
grace = GOOD

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses;
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
You do need a break, enjoy it

John 1:17

I should have included verse seventeen.

John 1:16-17
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.
17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Your question is not valid because there is no distinction between the law, God’s law, and Christ’s law in 1 Corinthians 9:20-21.

The phrases God’s law and Christ’s law don’t exist in 20-21

Jews
Those under law
Those without law

whats the difference between Jews & those under law? Why does Paul make a distinction?

Im sure you are an honest person. You believe in righteousness of obeying the law don't you? And that would include obeying the ten commandments?
As I am sure you know, Thou shalt not covet includes obeying law relating to the inner man, law only you and God need know you break. Only Paul gave that particular commandment as the reason he had to die to the law, sin through that law slew and condemned him. Just wondered if you feel you can do what Paul could not do. Break one law break them all-right? So do you obey law that only you and God need know you break, law relating to the inner man so you can be righteous before God with your view?

Well strangely, it appears I may not get an answer to my question. Why? Because people who stress righteousness of obeying the law know they cannot obey the law relating to the inner man, the law only they and God need know they break, so it is conveniently put aside. And yet, they say 'break one law you break them all'

This was the mistake of the Pharisees of Jesus day of course, they cleaned the outside of the cup whilst ignoring the inside. They hinged everything on obeying the law handed down at Sania whilst obviously exempting themselves from obeying much of it.
