Is God's love unconditional or conditional? If it is really unconditional, then wouldn't that mean that we can do nothing to be seperate from it? So then, God loves those in hell??? What do you think?

I use to think unconditional, but now I see that it might be conditional given that God demands us to produce a crop useful to Him. If we fail at this, or become the servant who says he will but doesn't, then what happens to God's unconditional love? Doesn't He tell us to remain in His kindness?

I think unconditional isn't quite the true story.

Luke 12:8 And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also befoe the angels of God; but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.

but....Luke 15:11-32 discusses the prodigal son who was once lost and then found.

I don't think there is a limit to God's love, but sin will NEVER be allowed in His presence. Sin is detestable to God. So praise Him that if you trust Christ for salvation, your sins are forgiven you.

Unconditional love, or as many believe, God loving all equally, is "programmed" love. It is like a computer which is programmed to love everyone regardless.
True love comes from the heart, not the mind, not the mouth. And love is always based on conditions. I love her because of her sweet spirit. I love her because of her sense of humor. I love him because he needs me. I don't believe anyone has ever loved someone for no reason.

No, God does not love us all and of those he does love, he loves some more than others.

The good news is that he wants to love us all.

"For God so loved the WORLD".....the good, bad, and the ugly. Dying on the cross for ALL,.........

Remember, ALL GOOD PARENTS discipline, and TRAIN their children (or they should).

Yes, God's love is without conditions, it depends only on God and not on our works. We are freely justified. Therefore as Paul says, nothing can separate us from the love of God.

What is useful to God? That we should do good is something not within our power but withing the power of God's mercy.
