Does it exist? If so, where and how?

If you are asking about that agape/Peter do you love me thing, then.........................No! Aint never met anyone with it! I have had some brag that they had it but that was proof that they didn't! Most, if not all, are too in-love with themselves to have it! If you have it then I would love (phileo) to meet you!

in exists as Christ flows through us but it is limited by our own limitations and inability to submit completely to Christ. What does that mean? It means we are imperfect and we will have moments of true agape love when we submit to that which is perfect but we will also have many moments of very limited love.

When we become completely God-centered In-Christ then we will show the fruits of Love. in my opinion, it is the highest gift from God. Also,IMHO, to have any self-sinteredness is a block to Love!

Dear 98cwitr. The love God wants from us, is unconditional and beneficial. Love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all all our minds. Also: Love our neighbour as ourselves. Corinthians, chapter 13, verses 4-8. Love is patient, love is kind. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. There is more. The best way to become loving is to start treating all we know and all we meet as we love ourselves. It might be uncomfortable to start, yet once we are on our way, we will realise it is a lovely way to live. Jesus will give us His Love and Joy to share with others, and the Holy Spirit will empower us with His Love. Jesus told us to " ask and ye will receive" and He told us to pray: Father forgive us our trespasses as we will forgive those who trespass against us. We might stumble and fail often, but we get up again, ask forgiveness, and carry on. God will see our sincere efforts, and He will approve and bless us. We are on Earth to learn to become as our Heavenly Father wants us to be: loving children becoming loving sons and daughters, and always follow Jesus: He is our Saviour, and He is the Way, back to where we came from. We are also told to Repent: to change our selfish and unloving behaviour: to loving God with all our beings, and loving each other as we love ourselves. God is Love, and Jesus told us to become perfect as God is perfect. We have much time to learn, and we will find that loving will become easier and easier. All around us people will notice and join us: Love is very catching, and we will enjoy life. We might not reach perfection, but God will see our love grow and grow, selfless and beneficial to all we know and all we meet. I say this with love. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

Yes, both in God and in many of the Saints. St Isaac of Syria calls it a "merciful heart":

"What is a merciful heart? It is a heart on fire for the whole of creation, for humanity, for the birds, for the animals, for demons, and for all that exists. By the recollection of them the eyes of a merciful person pour forth tears in abundance. By the strong and vehement mercy that grips such a person’s heart, and by such great compassion, the heart is humbled and one cannot bear to hear or to see any injury or slight sorrow in any in creation. For this reason, such a person offers up tearful prayer continually even for irrational beasts, for the enemies of the truth, and for those who harm her or him, that they be protected and receive mercy. And in like manner such a person prays for the family of reptiles because of the great compassion that burns without measure in a heart that is in the likeness of God...

In love did God bring the world into existence; in love is God going to bring it to that wondrous transformed state, and in love will the world be swallowed up in the great mystery of the One who has performed all these things; in love will the whole course of the governance of creation be finally comprised."
