Hah, let's see how this will work out. First of all, I believe in god, but I'm not christian, and I don't believe in the bible. Honestly, it's just a story, which you mindlessly follow.

Did you know that 65% of christians have never read the bible?

Now, most christians would flame up right here and start going "OH MY GO-...SH, YOU'RE GOING TO HELL." and for that I say SCREW YOU. I believe in a better god than yours, a tolerant god. My god doesn't hold a grudge for 2000 years without showing his face; That would just be a cruel joke against the people of earth, and quite frankely, sounds ridiculous.

No, I believe in a god that doesn't get ****ed just because you didn't read his book.

Did you know that most of the bible was edited just to make it easier for the churches to operate?

One thing that's always baffled me about christianty, your symbol is the cross, but that's what jesus was nailed to. I mean come on, if he was shot would you worship the gun or something? If you really think about it, it's stupid.

Did you know that when jesus walked on water, he was actually on stilts?

Haha, ok that one is just funny, but seriously.

I believe in god, and evolution. God can create the universe, and the world, but we also evolved. It's possible right?

Also, most scientists and such will say "God can't exist", and I found a way. Think about this, he could simply exist though a parrelel transmundane universe, correct?

I bet I just lost most of the people reading this. Heh.

Anyways, I forgot why I was making this post, so I'm just going to finish it now. >=

Okay, first off when making claims that may seem outragous to some it's important to site the information, other wise you're really just talking out of your butt. Secondly I can understand your frustration, personally most people I've met who claim to be religious don't actually stand by or really follow their supposed religion. There may be those who perverse and twist religion and spirituality to benifit their own perversions, but if you can see past that, great for you but in my opinion it's important not to dwell on it.
Now we get to the topic of "God". What is God? Is God really so simple that if you look in a book you will know? Is God the image of a divine man? Is God our reality and universe in which we live, is God a part of us? Is God a fanasy made up to help us feel better?
I can't tell you, no one can tell you. That's between you and God and if you are determined enough and stick with it you will find. Keep an open mind and an open heart. If you want God you have to go to God.
Maybe start by looking inside.

I know the best way to deal with it though, it's not to care. I just forget about everything like arguements, religion, and live life. That's what it's all about. Of course I go to random forums when I'm bored to, well, I don't know, whatever I feel like doing. Usually it's making people mad, which is hilarious.

Yeah, the bible is a diffucult thing, that's why I myself wouldn't start there. I perfer to look on the inside to "find God" than to research in a really big and confusing book. When I know myself I know God.
God, to me, is three things:
1 Me and my fellow human beings
2 The Universe and all it wonders
3 What is beyond... perhaps the Multiverse or just plain Nothingness
And The3rdElementFire, whatever you experience is up to you, if you never want to "find God" (however you may actually define that) you won't but if you want to and you try hard enough and you allow yourself to believe than it will happen.
But don't take my word for it, it's up to you.

ps I would like to suggest a great movie, it's called What the Bleep do we Know!?, it's very insightful and if it doesn't make you think you're probably brain dead (or already fully enlightend, is there a difference?)
