UGH!!!!!

I HATE THIS!!!! I hate being spiritually out of sync....today....actually a few minutes ago, a bisexual guy made a pass at me online and I could've said something about forgiveness but couldn't think of anything. Then when I did, I thought about not casting pearls before swine and ugh!!! I don't know what in the world to do.

Just needed some place to vent.

Vent away, Quiet Storm! I always seem to think of something I wish I would have said hours afterward I wish I would have said it. Seems to take the "oomph" out of out though, you know? Sometimes that is a good thing, other times it isn't.

It sounds as though you need to be spending a bit more time in the scriptures.. that you may give an answer to anyone who asks, it may be the most important moment in your life that will see a soul saved or lost; You've got to be prepared.... But just step back, take a deep breath and look the scriptures you'll need. Maybe just a few on different subjects. maybe even a little know how to point them in the right direction...

About casting preals before swine; I think I'm the biggest at breaking that. i would give the verses to them, and after a time if they keep turning you away, it's time to 'shake the dust off your feet.' Some people just may need a little time.. But in no way use that as an excuse not to aid someone, or show them the truth.. no matter what you think of them

Hi! This things happen all the time. And i agree with Lyle that we need to spend more time in the scriptures and memorizing the Word so we can instantly have those verses ready when anything comes by. Jesus had his hand ful of verses to throw back at Satan even when He was in His deepest physical suffering.

On the other hand, in certain situations, i believe God controls our thoughts and that affects what we say. Remember Luke 11:11-12 ?

I had something like this happen to me once. Some Jehovah witnesses were talking to me, and I couldn't think of anything to say. I just used the experience as 'constructive criticism', that it was an indication that I needed to be reading my Bible more.
