was only having a debate with someone yesterday about U2, and their music and whether or not they started ff proclaiming Jesus' name boldly through it, and now they dont "mention" it .

His attitude was that now they dont even include God into their music, personally i dont agree.

I think their recent stuff is just as spiritual, even if some of them are not obviously Jesus based.

U2 is one of the better band out there but to call them a Christian band is really reaching.

I would not call U2 a Christian band, but I would say that htey are a band with some Christian overtones in their songs. A lot of the songs from the 2nd half of their career deal with God and spirituality, even if theologically wrong.

And I know for a fact that Adam Clayton, the bass player, is not a Christian.
