  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I do U2's album, 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb', it has some up-tempo songs e.g. 'Vertigo' on there and it also has some soft and soulful songs on there as well e.g. 'Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own'. My personal favourite off the album has to be 'Vertigo' because it is a great opening to the album and it is a very catchy song! :)

U2 has been on point their whole career. I don't think they'll ever put out a cd as good as The Joshua Tree, but every cd they have put out has been a classic in my eyes. The new one seems to be a little more openly spiritual, even though if you've really listened to U2 before, you know they're a Christian rock band. I wish Bono wouldn't cuss in his speeches, but I've got my vices too, so I say ROCK ON U2!

U2 is overated anyway.

U2 are overrated as much as any other supergroup was. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling stones, And The Clash. They are an example of overated bands....

Trust me, Bono swears all the time in his speeches. They were inducted into some rock and roll hall of fame (not sure if it was the US one or not), but he swore a few times.

That was the golden globe awards in 2003. He said "this is [EDIT]ing Brilliant!" I say good on him! He is a rock "n" roll star; he should have the right to cuss. I don't want to see him become another Cliff Richards LOL. It's a pity his stopped cussing on this tour though. Not even recent interviews. According a poster on Interference Bono said he is trying to sop it.
