He did too much too fast and now the people are voicing dissent, which means Congress is starting to realize they could lose the cushy job on the next election. Most people do not want the prisoners anywhere near their home and they have been increasingly contacting their congressmen. If obama hadn't forced the stimulus and other bills on us so quickly he'd have more of a chance on this, and on healthcare.

whatever. i shouldn't be impatient, we've still got a little over a year till the 2010 elections. But he better damn well have some accomplishments under his belt by then or i think a lot of liberals are going to stay home.

80% of that deficit is Bush's bailout, (which he supported, but it's hardly his accomplishment) the rest is the stimulus.
