ETA:

To explain #1, when I was in high school, my dad sent me to a summer music school, 2 times. It was put on by the Stamps and Blackwood Bros quartets.

JD and Ken were instructors. Richard Sturbin (now with the Oak Ridge Boys) was in the Stamps during JD’s recovery from surgery and I had opportunity to sit one on one with him for warm up exercises. I was in Ken’s class for bass voices, and JD jumped up on stage with me (in an instructional capacity) and sang with for a couple of tunes; RIGHT next to me. (Kinda scarey) In front of the whole student body - 200-300 of us.
