The 19 year old received a criminal sentence, the State employee was given a break because he vandalized a Tesla
According to the link you provided, the nineteen year old hasn't went to court yet.Same crime, a nineteen year old with no criminal record gets prosecuted, the older guy who vandalized the Tesla does not. As obvious as can be.
"A 19-year-old Robbinsdale woman with no criminal record was charged with first-degree felony property damage on Monday after she allegedly keyed her coworker’s car at the White Castle in Brooklyn Park. The damage to the car was estimated at $7,000. She is due to make her first court appearance in two weeks."
There's a very good chance that she will be able to have the charges dropped if she offers to pay to have the damage to the car repaired, especially since she doesn't have a criminal record.
