I wrote this poem while reflecting on past struggles in my life. I realized that while relying on myself and what the world has to offer, it all seemed pretty dim. Then, I understood that with God by my side, I can make the right choices and live my life more like Jesus.

Two Realities
----------------------
They shout darkness and make the world go dim
Cry
They leave the country for their dream
Frown
They try to heal their past with drugs
Yell
They end an eight year friendship because of belief
Hate
They destroy your view on fatherhood
Hide
They persecute, hate, look down upon, leave out, and reject you for your faith
Change
That's the reality of this world

Smile
They try to heal their past with drugs
Hug
