Hello @Little Lantern, I was a music major in college, and I made my living as a symphony musician (tympani and percussion) after that, just FYI. Now, back to the game

Hymns are typically more difficult to sing than contemporary Christian music is, but they teach us the great doctrines of the Bible, as well make them more memorable.

[@St_Worm2, what an awesome career! Music is a highly competitive vocation, and your being able to make a living as a musician is a testimony of your giftedness and dedication. Your comments reminded me of a percussion concert I once attended. I'm embarrassed to say that I went more out of curiosity than expectation, but absolutely loved it! BTW, If I had it to do over again, I would study music composition, but probably as a minor because know I could not make a living from it. Now . . .]

Let me say, that hymns and choral works are are my favorite types of music.

ICU beds are beginning to be filled again here in the States with brand new cases of Coronavirus. I wonder if that has something to do with a recent mutation of the COVID-19 virus, or because social distancing was thrown out the window during the last 2 weeks of protests and riots that gripped our nation?
