...instead of creating two different threads.

1.) Someone said that Moses described the Israelites as, "Having so much Loud Music." And that it was described as if they were, "Going to war."

- Can you please link me to the verse that says this?

- What was the meaning behind it?

2.) Are any of Jesus' disciples quoted as healing (or performing any miracles), "In the name of Jesus?" If so, can you please provide (preferably) at least a couple different verses that show this?

Thanks!

No records of Moses speaking of loud music; however, the Israelites did blow loud trumpets during battle time, and there was celebratory singing with music when the battles were over.

Exodus 19:19
And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

Exodus 15:1
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, 'I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.'"

Yes, Paul and Peter performed miracles in the name of Jesus.

Acts 3:6-8
6. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Acts 9:17-18
17. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18. And immediately[/B] there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Acts 9:34
And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately. And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

Exodus 32:18-20 (King James Version)

18And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
19And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

It might help if we get a translation, that is a little freer with the wording..

Exodus 32:18-20 (The Message)

18 But Moses said,

Those aren't songs of victory,
And those aren't songs of defeat,
I hear songs of people throwing a party.

19-20 And that's what it was. When Moses came near to the camp and saw the calf and the people dancing, his anger flared. He threw down the tablets and smashed them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

2.)The last part of Mt 9 and the first Part of Mt 10 focus on Christ enabling His disciples with this power.

1.)I couldn't find anything on loud music, and personally don't recall such a story.

Here is a key word search of the bible:
BibleGateway.com: Search for a Bible word or phrase in over 35 languages and 50 versions.

Thanks a lot, drich. :)

Ah, okay. Maybe that's what the guy meant.

Perfect!!! Thank you so much.
