  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

No, Notreligious, we do not base our position on Acts, rather, on what Paul had written about his ministry both during and after Acts. Again, you read into things what you will.

Then, along comes The Boxer and does the same. For, per both Acts and Paul's writings the assembly at Corinth had been both Jews and Gentiles!

While Romans 7 addresses those Jews in the Body who would add the Law to Grace. Might as well make the claim that Galatians had also been written to an assembly solely Jewish, as its "reproof" is based on the issues Paul would later address once more, with his writing of Romans (written sometime after Galatians, etc.)

And what do you make of Ephesians 2?

Uh, no sir. Read chapter 10. Paul had told the Corinthians that THEIR fathers passed through the sea under the cloud, and were baptized into Moses. This CANNOT apply to Gentiles. Therefore, the Church at Corinth was exclusively Jewish. There is not one scintilla of evidence that Paul had addressed Gentiles in the entire epistle. Therefore, it was Jewish believers ONLY who were baptized into the body of Christ in chapter 6.

Correct. Paul had indicated in 7:1 that he had been speaking to Jewish believers. Therefore, it was Jewish believers alone in chapter 6 who had been baptized into the body of Christ.

Yep! Paul told the Galatians Christians that they were under the [ceremonial] law as child-heirs were under a tutor until Christ came to redeem them from the [ceremonial] law (Galatians 4:1-6). By faith they became mature sons.

This CANNOT apply to Gentiles. So by your own logic we have nothing. You need to start from scratch my friend. Your whole theology is a big mess.
