CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I want you all to please continue to pray, but I think I need some prayer also. I am so frustrated by this entire situation right now. I am so disappointed in the system and the way it has failed the boys. I am so mad that CPS repeatedly tells us "the next time mom hits them we will take them from her" and it never happens. She goes to court and admits knocking teeth (2) out of one boys head. Two teeth, two occassions in one week. She pinches them leaving bruises, she slaps them in the face so much if you reach up to touch their faces they cower in fear. Yet she is constantly allowed to continue her abuse. Teachers, physicians, and other family and friends have reported her numerous times for the past 3 years, and still the boys are made to return to the abuse. Then of course she finds out they have told on her and she abuses them and scolds them for that telling them they are not allowed to tell anyone anything that happens at her house. I fear they are going to stop telling, and the abuse will only get worse.

Father i pray that you will be with these to boys
protect them from the abuse. Be their shield and win this battle with victory don't later them suffer in pain no more they don't deserve this abuse. Its such a horable thing. Please help them Lord.

Lord, let our sister's strength be renewed. Let her not loose heart, but let her continue to fight for Your Sons. Lord, these children need someone to take their case, they need someone to stand up for them and keep them safe. Let these children find peace and safety. Father, let their mother no longer harm them. Give those that are in charge of this case the courage to stand. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I Pray, Amen
