• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Hello everyone, nice to meet you all :)

I thought I'd introduce myself, I'm a mum to 4 gorgeous children. Twin girls aged 6 and one boy aged 8 soon to be 9 and a 23 year old son. My twin girls were diagnosed with Autism when they were 4 years old though one is more likely to be more Aspergers than autistic.

Speech delay one worse than the other and fine motor skills, one still in nappies and both very visual learners.

Both are being mainstreamed into school at the moment and seem to be coping well, we have good days and bad days as I'm sure you all well know :)

Any ways I just wanted to say hi and I'll look forward to catching up and getting to know everyone :)

Is it usually this quiet around here? I don't want to get my hopes up in the hope of talking to others with this if this is not an active thread, so can someone shed some light on whether or not this is active or fairly inactive other wise I'm gonna be popping in every day to just get more disappointed when no one replies :o(

The questionnaire is to get an idea of some of the challeges that you go face It should not take any longer then 5 minutes to fill in. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
