I was going through random on my ipod for the Play On thread and heard the old Folgers jingle. Do you have any commercials that stick in your head from when you were a kid?

Oh my word, yes! I remember all the Folgers commercials. Some of them were so corny. I'll have to look on YouTube and see if I can find some of them.

The one for the Dunkin Donuts cereal.

Oh and the Creepy Crawlers one.

The ones for video game cereals.

One commercial that I liked as a child,was the Dreyfuss lion walking down Wall Street in New City. The king of beasts was representing Dreyfuss,the King of Wall Street.
Of course,at the time,I knew nothing about Wall Street.

About 20 years later,when I took a personal finance class,at San Francisco State University,,I decided to invest in some mutual funds. I picked Dreyfuss Liquid Assets. I was not thinking about that commercial at the time. Later on,during the semester,I saw in a book about TV commercials,the Dreyfuss Lion,the King of Wall Street.

Wow!, you talk about subliminal advertising!

I loved that ad! I was too young to even know what Dreyfuss was, but the lion walking down Wall Street was still cool.
I also loved the Snuggle commercial so much that I named my own teddy bear after it.
