Sometimes I think it is better to move on from what others say and come to your own conclusions. In this case, I would like to present a few points that should indicate that Tuna is not kosher [biblically] because I know that there has been rabbinical approval and blessing for the Jews to eat Tuna.
Tuna's skin has scales if you have a microscope available, yet the ancients did not have microscopes. Thus, the fish has smooth skin to the touch and to sight, except in several little areas. Even the massive giant tuna appears to be smooth skinned.
Here is another quote:
So for all of you who are eating Tuna, give it another look at.

Their habits tell us that they are a predator. They are tremendous predators from the moment they hatch, seeking out schools of fish like herring, mackerel and even eels. They hunt by sight and have the sharpest vision of any bony fish. There are three species of bluefin: Atlantic (the largest and most endangered), Pacific, and Southern. Most catches of the Atlantic bluefin tuna are taken from the Mediterranean Sea, which is the most important bluefin tuna fishery in the world. http://www.worldwildlife.org/species/bluefin-tuna
Do tunas have scales? Yes, all species do, but scales are so small over most of the body as to be nearly invisible. Prominent scaling appears only around the head, on the cheeks, and in a triangular area on each side of the body near the head.

Here is another quote:
In biblical Judaism terms, not the age of the microscope, if a fish does not have "obvious" scales "all over" its body, and not just in part, then it is rendered "Unkosher" to "Biblical law." Ancient Judaism Homestead is interested in biblical law, not rabbinical law, nor rabbinical standards. http://ancientjudaism.homestead.com/Complete-kosher-food-laws.html"The large, oceanic albacore tuna (Thunnus alalunga) is built for speed, with a torpedo-shaped body, smooth skin and streamlined fins."
