  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know, I think it is also a summer thing. In winter the bumps get covered by warm clothing, but now they are so ON DISPLAY!
This is a good theory, but it's winter here and there are bumps everywhere!
Pregnancy is 'in'. Though in my case it could be my recent change of 'everyday scenery'. I'm not at uni every day anymore, so the people I see are the stay at home mums at the shops...

Today is cd 28 for me...fertility? where are you? I can't get pregnant if I don't get fertile.:(

Getting ready to leave for my doctor appointment... not sure what I'm hoping for. I actually don't really know what I'm going in for other than an exam. I guess just to talk about what we are doing next. One more step in the right direction, though!

Well, the doctor said that both DH and I are fine - there is nothing wrong with either of us that should give us problems (besides my slightly tilted uterus). He says it may just be stress... Not exactly the answer I was looking for, but at least I know nothing is wrong. He decided to try one cycle of Clomid, so I will do that next month - I guess. I'm not really sure though yet, DH doesn't sound like he really wants me to - he is scared of the possibility of multiples. I guess I need to learn more about it first. We might just forget it and keep trying without it for awhile - I'm not really sure. But at least the option is there. He absolutely wouldn't test progesterone levels... I even argued with him a little bit about it. He said they won't test that unless I have 3 m/c (I've had two). I can't imagine waiting for another one - but I lost that argument anyway. So hopefully that is not my problem.

Thanks for asking about me!! It's great to be able to talk about this with other people that are going through it or have gone through it... still keeping you all in my prayers!!

Glad that they found nothing wrong. Hope it's a short wait to a healthy pregnancy for you.

HI again everyone  I feel like I've been away ages! My sister got married yesterday and my SIL turned 40 today - busy busy busy! Hope you all ha d a lovely weekends!

JenRenee - really happy for you that the doc couldn't find anything, and that you have more options up your sleeve for future months! I pray the peace of mind your joint good health gives you will help you to conceive soon! Thank you for keeping us posted.

AF just ending now, and DH back abroad again, so please pray for me that next weekend is my fertile time, otherwise it would take a miracle for me to conceive this month. Although I gotta say, I don't think this is going to be the month...

 s all round!

Hi Ladies

I have been away for aaaaaages (15th May was my last visit).

How are you all? Have i been missing the BFP's (i hope so!!)

I'm currently waiting on a book from Australia (God's plan for pregnancy - looks fab - to help me pray) i really want to up my prayer life and faith (in this area) so this books sort of guides you from conception to post natal and how to pray effectively and the scripture to concentrate on.

I have PCOS. This is my first month on metformin and on clomid. I'm hoping it's my last! :) not had any bad side effects, with the exception of being bloated and kinda windy, but that all seems to have calmed down now.

I hope you are all doing well.

God bless
xx

It seems like we're in sync annaapple. AF ended for me on Saturday.

On a positive note, I was recommended for QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) at my final assessment on Friday, so am now an NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher).

I still have plenty of school work to do, but at least the rest of the stuff is out of the way now. 2 weeks, 4 days left till the summer holidays (vacation). Can't wait!

Hi,

I'm back too and I'm still waiting. Life was craizy. We just got back to my parents in-law a week before the stress started. Both of my in-laws fell and my mom in law is still in a rehab. She broke her hip when she fell. So a lot of stress on us to take care of them and cook, and clean and visit her.

This is my second month on Metformin and I had a light period who transformed in a daily pink, red, brown stuff. My doctor on the phone told me that probably my body is adjusting. So I don't know what to believe. This is the third week like this and she can't see me till July 11.
I hope she is right and is not another problem.
It is hard this time for me because one year ago I just found that I was pregnant. I never thought after the miscarriage that I will not be pregnant again at this time. So I will apreciate some prayers.

Anyone know for how many days after first day of fertile CM one remains fertile?

You remain fertile until the fertile CM goes away. Then you have 3 more days to possibly be fertile. At least if you are trying to avoid they want you to wait 3 days after the fertile CM. Obviously you will want to try to get pregnant as soon as you see that CM, until it's gone.
