  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks for sharing that Elijah!

I have been feeling down in the dumps about Christian Forums in itself. I am so glad I came into this deeper fellowship room.

There have been so many unbilical beliefs spread around on CF that in many ways it is dragging me down spiritually.

The good part about CF is finding the truth through those who are knowledgable about God's truth, and it's given me greater insight.

However, I have been considering leaving CF due to all the untruths spread around this place.

It's really dragging me down.

:( :sigh:

What kind of untruths are you refering to? Just all the pro-homosexual threads and stuff? Cause I just avoid those by staying out of the philosphy and ethics forum.

Yes, but that's only part of it. The rest I would rather send in a pm.

Thanks for being concerned though.

I have to log off now.

Have a great day!

Again, thanks for sharing. :)
