  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I like the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. He was taken away from his family (sold into slavery by his brothers), imprisoned falsely, and languished for 13 years waiting on God's will to be done. The Psalmist said (about Joseph) "The word of the Lord tried him"....

When God speaks a word, or gives assurance that the prayer will be answered, and weeks, months, and years go by, the vision appears dim and our faith sometimes grows weak.....yet God's word is sure, and His will will be accomplished.

When the circumstances appear dark, and grim, and all hope is about gone, then the LORD will appear and the darkness will flee.

Hebrews 11.1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Don't give up, the answer is on the way.....

I think John Wesley had the same thing(or one of the big Scottish preachers).
He did a journal of his sermons and how they turned out. For weeks he was asked to leave the church or told his sermons were rubbish(litteraly). But he persevered and God gave him a huge appreciative addience where many came to Christ.
