'Donald Trump has made the outrageous claim that he’s struck a whopping 200 trade deals with foreign leaders during his 90-day pause on his “reciprocal tariff” policy. But when pressed, the president refused to say with which countries any of the deals have been made.'
I wouldn't trust this guys as far as I could throw him. He seems like a seedy salesman, saying very vague outlandish, unbelievable things.
I mean, if I met a salesman like this in real life, I'd leave the building and never come back. Yuck!

In celebration of Trump's magnificent achievement in renaming the Gulf Of Mexico, the White House has released this first 100 days celebratory product, the Gulf of America hat proudly produced in China and sold at any Trump approved retail outlet with a 245% import duty tax.

As you probably know, there's an election this weekend down here. And you'd have to be somewhat naive not to realise both party leaders will 'bend the truth' a little in the campaigns (there's a political ad on the tv as I type this). But outright lying? It's simply not acceptable. If either Dutton or Albo were found to have directly lied to the voters, as Trump does constantly to US voters on a daily basis, then that would be the end of the election for whoever did it. And also the end of his political career.

Why is it acceptable in the US?

Following on from the last post, here's his latest lie: Trump is upset by his low polling numbers and demands an investigation into pollsters

'The Failing New York Times Poll, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll, about a person named DONALD J. TRUMP, ME, are FAKE POLLS FROM FAKE NEWS ORGANIZATIONS,” Trump added.'

OK, let's pick two polls from organisations that are most definitely pro Trump: Fox and Rasmussen. From the same link:

'A Fox News poll found that voters are unhappy with Trump’s policies on nearly every issue other than border security. '

And from here: Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

'The latest figures include 32% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.'

Again, when he so obviously lies, why is it acceptable?

It's funny how "Rescinded Biden EOs" is an accomplishment. Like, the goal is out of spite to undo the other guys stuff.
It doesn't seem like an accomplishment to me. An accomplishment would be like, reducing taxes, removing tarrifs, brokering a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, Putting through a bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
It would be about doing something specific, rather than undoing whatever (unnamed)stuff that the other guy did.

You realize that you are talking about a guy who is still bragging about passing a cognitive test for dementia over four years ago. When the bar is being able to tell a giraffe from the number "5", everything is an accomplishment.

I wonder who's going to be deported, the reporters, the people who don't like him, or just take the easy way and do both.
