He said that getting captured by the enemy doesn't make someone a war hero. He even went as far as to say that McCain may be a hero, but getting captured doesn't make him one. Is there a point that you are trying to make or are you just going to post Trump bashing in some futile effort to change my mind about Trump? Because the fact is that Trump has taken more bullets for this country than the vast majority of military veterans, and far more than Kamala is willing to take. By the way, I already voted. That is what Trump meant and exactly what he said about John McCain and I agree. People raised McCain on a pedestal because he was a POW. But anyone in a combat zone can become a prisoner of war by simply raising a white flag and surrendering to the enemy. Do you think Putin would be praising all the Russian soldiers as heroes because they surrendered to Ukranians? I think not. What makes McCain a hero, in my opinion, is how he conducted himself while captured by the enemy, not the capture itself. Yes, the International business don't pay the tariffs. The USA importers pay the tariffs and they then are forced to raise the retail prices to cover that cost. This all leads to inflation as you have pointed out, not just for those imported goods, but for anything that uses those imports to manufacture other goods.The American "peasants" will pay as business will pass on the cost.
