China’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday that Trump’s tweet smears China, and that Beijing strongly opposes the president’s usage of the words.
Diverting blame from himself for the litany of reckless actions that made this pandemic much worse in the US - getting rid of the pandemic response team, cuts to the CDC, calling the concern about the virus a "hoax" at his rally & whatabout'ing to the flu - to China is the obv. ploy. His base can then defend him bc & blame China. Even though Trump has replicated many of the errors China made. Like muzzling public health officials & downplaying it irresponsibly.
It's ridiculous that Zoomers & everybody else must follow rules on Twitter about what's allowable to post or get booted but the impeached POTUS can post whatever he wants.
They are at least marking videos that have been altered as fake. So that's a start.
