Trump says there will be 'all hell to pay in the Middle East' if hostages not released by January 20"
There already has been "hell" in Gaza, and Hamas has not surrendered or disappeared. And I read that they plan to be part of the governing arrangement after a cease-fire. Of course, if that report of their plan was given to "infidels", it could be some sort of a trick. What "infidels" are thinking and feeling means nothing to them. They might act as though it does . . . but I don't believe anything they say or claim.
And we have people claiming to understand what Hamas wants, and therefore how to handle them. They are said to want to destroy Israel; but even if they don't, they won't stop trying.
One thing I think is an Achilles heel of Hamas is they want land which they consider to be holy where everything is their way. If you take away land that they are trying to get, this can spoil things for them. Killing them won't matter, really, since dying means going to their heaven. But if they can't have land . . . they feel this.
My opinion is that hardcore Muslims like Hamas will not negotiate. That would be making a deal with "infidels", and they aren't going to do that. Maybe . . . don't kill them, and do not let them have any land, at all. And find how to control them, without killing them so they get nothing and do not negotiate, at all, or you are just being tricked . . . somehow.
How does the Bible say to deal with the devil?
"nor give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:27)
Give no place to Satan, give no place to Hamas; do not believe anything Satan says, do not believe anything Hamas says or indicates.
And do not let Hamas or any Satanic people have power to make us fear or be unforgiving or to hate; or else we are being toys of Satan's kingdom. But God's word does say >
"Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (in James 4:7)
And > "God resists the proud," we have in James 4:6 and also in 1 Peter 5:5. So, we have God to resist Hamas people.
No negotiating, no killing . . . but yes however God has resisting.
