The picture was published without comment or explanation on the US president's personal account - and then on the White House X and Instagram accounts.

Last week, he was asked by reporters on the White House lawn who he would like to succeed Francis and he replied: "I'd like to be Pope. That would be my number one choice."

It certainly isn’t normal behavior for a president. What makes things even worse is that this image was also shared by the White House's official government account. Trump and his administration bring shame and embarrassment to the United States.

This is very concerning.

Nah what’s concerning is how some people have seemingly turned off their brains and any ability to be critical of what’s coming out of the White House.

We have a president who behaves like a child daily because there no longer is any political consequence to being as low, petty and immature as possible. He knows his supporters don’t care about anything anymore. He knows they will not turn on him no matter how low he goes. That’s my real concern in all of this. How do we bring these people back down to earth?

A child would never because they’d be scolded by the adults around them. The president doesn’t seem to have any adults around him and his supporters seem to be just as crass and careless as he is.
