After Donald Trump got knocked back from Aberdeen council for his golf course + massive housing development in Balmedie, it seems he's turned his attention to Northern Ireland where he's received a rather warmer reception. I have a friend who lives in Balmedie and he was telling me that if Trump just wanted to build a golf course then that would have been fine, it was the 1500 houses he also wanted to build in an area of great natural beauty (I've been up there, it is nice) which was the problem.
What are the thoughts of our Northern Irish cousins on this guy descending on you? Perhaps there's more need for job creation in County Antrim than there is in Balmedie.
